The TJ500 prints characters 1/4- or 1/2-in. tall (alphanumerics and
UPC-A bar codes), with 300 dpi vertical and horizontal resolution, and
speeds up to 200 feet /minute. Printhead is constructed of a sealed, industrial-grade housing with stainless
steel faceplate and built-in photo sensors to detect product speed and
direction. The TJ500 also comes with Smart Level Ink Detection System
that indicates “ink low” and “ink out ” status of Diagraph ink
cartridges. A simple snap-in and snap-out feature makes ink replacement
easy. The TJ500 can be driven by the I J3000 ES Controller--a handheld interface--or a PC.
