MG America

A subsidiary of MG2 of Bologna, Italy, MG America supplies an innovative family of precision-crafted processing and packaging machinery that includes capsule fillers, primary and secondary packaging equipment, material handling and aseptic machinery, and line integration solutions. From sales, field service and spare parts to machine trials and local service/support representation, MG America offers a true “Partnership for Success.”

MG America is headquartered in Fairfield, NJ, where its in-house staff provides sales, field service, spare parts, machine trials, and a clean room for testing customers’ products on MG2 capsule fillers. Machinery includes:

MG America offers the Farmo Res Prima K7 Thermoformer, a machine designed specifically for the deep-draw thermoforming of syringes, ampoules, vials and medical devices. The Prima K7 can run up to 35 cycles per minute and is operated by PLC with transfer on one lane for the production of trays in PET, PVC and polystyrene. The machine’s primary differentiators are its deep-draw capabilities - it can form blisters with depths as great as 40mm – and its gentle handling of fragile products. Other highlights include a new syringe buffer system with a capacity of more than 2,000 syringes; a loading station for vials and ampoules; and forming and loading capabilities from the operator side, resulting in a more compact forming module and easier changeover procedures.

MG America also offers the Cariba C300, a side-loading, continuous motion cartoner suitable for packaging pharmaceutical, cosmetic and personal care products. Featuring balcony-style construction for easy cleaning and fast maintenance operations, the C300 can produce up to 300 cartons/min., with all mechanical movements driven by belts and separated from the carton operation area. Product insertion is precise even at high speeds, thanks to an innovative transportation “puck” system based on a single-point adjustment. Cartons can be closed by tuck-in, hot-melt or both.

Training:
We provide machine start-up, training for operators and maintenance crew, support for IQ/OQ validation procedures.
