Bergami USA

Bergami Srl was originally founded in Bologna, Italy in 1980. In the span of less than 20 years Bergami has become a worldwide leader in the manufacturing of packaging machinery. We have 120 employees and offices in 5 countries and machinery installed in over 45 countries worldwide. All machinery is manufactured by Bergami in our main facility located in Bologna, Italy. We incorporate sales, parts, support and technical service in our 5 satellite offices.

Our product includes vertical and horizontal cartoning, tray forming, overwrapping, bundling systems, automatic case-packing and palletizing systems. The majority of our machinery is designed in a balcony manner for ease of access and simple cleaning. All Bergami machinery features all major movements controlled by mechanical cams for hours of quiet, reliable maintenance free operation. Bergami utilizes the latest technology in electronics using servomotor systems for controls and movement where these systems can be used in the most practical and dependable application.

Because of the nature of the majority of our product line includes some type of products handling, loading and collating, Bergami had designed and implemented our own 3-4 and 5 axis intermittent and constant motion servo controlled pick and place systems. The Bergami pick and place systems are simple, cost effective, purpose designed and fully 100% integrated into the machine PLC operations and HMI. Our system offers a fantastic advantage to our customers in both simplicity of applications and also the cost of the system over integrated 3rd party robotics.

Our primary markets are pharmaceutical, nutraceutical, medical devices, cosmetics and consumer products industries.
Bergami offers individual machinery sales or complete turnkey integrated solutions for the whole line responsibility. As it has become the normal standard Bergami is also fully skilled at integrating many of the sub-systems required in today’s packaging applications including vision systems, track and trace, labeling systems, laser systems and much more.

Bergami offers start up and training for all of our new installations. We also recommended follow up training 6-10 weeks after initial start up. Many times follow up training is at no charge with the exception of travel and living costs. When requested Bergami can prepare a complete documents training program tailored to the clients requirements
Documentation (optional):
All Bergami machinery ships with instruction and technical manual, parts manual, electrical and pneumatic schematics in hard and digital copies. Future applications will have all of this information available through the machines HMI. Validation documentation (IQ,OQ,PQ) is also available upon request.
Other services:
Bergami offers complete line assembly, integration and final testing at our facility with any 3rd party manufacturers. This allows for single source accountability and complete real time, real production speed line trails for proper and thorough line acceptance.
