Hope Alexander Joins Burns & McDonnell

The global manufacturing facilities development leader will support the firm’s growing portfolio of manufacturing facility solutions and clientele nationwide.

Leading facilities development professional Hope Alexander has joined Burns & McDonnell in Chicago to support the firm’s growing portfolio of manufacturing facility solutions and clientele nationwide. She will spearhead the development of integrated design and construction services for a diverse range of markets, including biotech/life sciences, advanced manufacturing, food and beverage, consumer products, and institutional facilities.

With more than 35 years of experience in all facets of the AEC industry, Alexander has worked in many technical markets across the globe, including biotech/life sciences, advanced manufacturing, product distribution, food and beverage, mission critical, and aviation.

Additionally, she has worked for both entrepreneurial startups and large, well-established companies. She was instrumental in the revenue and personnel growth of several companies offering program management, design-build, advanced building technology, material handling consulting, and architecture and engineering services. 

Alexander is involved in professional and industry organizations, including the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers (ISPE) and Corporate Real Estate Women (CREW).
