The domestically produced rolled foil works consistently well with a variety of container materials including PP, PS, PET, COC, HDPE and LDPE.
The high-slip, low friction texture of Constantia Hueck’s new foil reduces the need for air pressure in the packaging machinery chute, which in turn, significantly reduces dust residue and build-up. The end result is less equipment jams and six times less down time due to cleaning and maintenance versus the leading competitor’s material.
In addition to causing less friction, dust build-up and equipment jams, the new foil requires a lower seal temperature and less dwell time than other foils. It is available in printed and unprinted versions, as well as in retort applications. It also offers an easy peel for a consumer-friendly package, no leaks for consistent quality, and competitive pricing for potential cost savings.
Constantia Hueck Foils’ products include push-through and peelable blister foils; cold-formable foils for absolute barrier to moisture and oxygen; heat-seal coatings for PVC, PVdC, Aclar® laminations, PET, PP and Barex®; two-sided registered printing for compliance-style packaging; text- and barcode-printable white-lacquered foils; plus child-resistant, senior friendly and anti-counterfeiting structures.
