The thermal head transfers images to an inked receptor ribbon, which is brought in close proximity to the printing area. A pad then presses the ribbon against the container, producing high-resolution images. The printer can handle uneven or nonflexible surfaces. Can print up to 40 ft/min continually, or 60 cycles/min intermittently. Maximum printing area is 7 3/4" x 4".
