Leonard A. Lauder, chairman of The Estée Lauder Co., will deliver a special opening day Plenary Address at HBA Global Expo and PCITX, October 14 through 16 at the Jacob K. Javits Convention Center in New York. His speech, entitled A view from the top: The next five years, will take place on Monday, October 14, at 9:00 a.m.
The 10th annual HBA Global Expo is the premier health, beauty, and personal care trade show and conference. PCITX (Personal Care Ingredients & Technology Expo) is a new event for personal care product development and its related technologies that takes place in conjunction with HBA Global Expo.
“This is the first time that we have had a Plenary speaker and we are thrilled that on the 10th anniversary of HBA Global Expo and at the launch of PCITX we have the distinguished Mr. Lauder delivering opening remarks,” says Jack Gonzales, show director. In addition to the Plenary Address, HBA Global Expo and PCITX will feature an educational program consisting of two conference tracks: Marketing and Product Development. The Marketing track will cover an array of general topics important to its core audience, as well as more focused sessions on point of purchase, the Internet, and packaging. The Product Development track, entitled The practical application of technology, will present in-depth sessions on the latest trends in skin care, cosmetics, hair care, fragrance, and other HBA product categories.
The exhibit floors will be packed with the latest products and services from the top companies in the business. Among the expected 500 exhibitors at the show will be formulators, contract fillers, ingredient suppliers, and private-label manufacturers as well as packaging, dispensing, and labeling companies.
Also a highlight at the show will be the prestigious industry awards program on Monday, October 14, at the Hilton Hotel in New York. Among the awards to be presented are Packaging Executive of the Year and the third annual International Package Design Award.
