Independent Can Company has been manufacturing specialty metal packaging in the USA since 1929! The company has grown from a single location in Baltimore, Maryland, to six strategically located facilities nationwide. Our portfolio of specialty cans is the largest in North America. We are the leader in state-of-the-art metal decorating with continuous investment strategies.

Our product line includes a breadth of decorative promotional cans for snacks and confections, as well as hermetic food cans, hermetic cans for industrial applications including chemical containment and welding electrodes, and a broad array of high quality seamless tins, specialty fittings and closures.
Food Safety:
Our facilities are SQF Certified as of 2018. We have been audited and approved by national companies such as Target, Kraft-Heinz, Zippo, Coca-Cola, Nestle and many others.
Programs:
Independent Can features a year-round stock decorative tin program – the only one made in the USA. We offer custom lithography, digital printing, special finishes, embossing, and more. Our packaging promotes, protects and is 100% infinitely recyclable.
