Flexicon Bulk Bag Filling System With Dual Fillers

This content was written and submitted by the supplier. It has only been modified to comply with this publication’s space and style.

The Flexicon filling system features dual fillers fed by dual gain-in-weight hoppers positioned above them that allow pre-weighed material to descend into bags at rates up to 40 bulk bags per hour. The sanitary, all-stainless-steel bulk bag filling system simultaneously lowers and pivots each fill head into a vertically oriented position that enables an operator to connect the bag spout and loop while standing on the plant floor. Once the inflator button is pressed, and the collar secures the bag spout, the fill head raises and returns to horizontal orientation. A dedicated blower fills the bag with air, and the surge hopper’s roller gate valve opens. Pre-weighed material fills the bag, the valve closes, the inlet seal deflates, and the bag loop latches release.
