Arakawa Chemical Industries Ltd. (Osaka, Japan) and Dow Chemical Co. (Midland, MI) have formed Arakawa Europe GmbH (Frankfurt, Germany) to sell Arkon(TM) hydrocarbon resins, which are used as tackifiers in various adhesive applications.
