After a successful Cup-to-Cup recycling pilot, Starbucks is hopeful about the potential of the process to increase recycling rates for foodservice coffee cups overall. Can Starbucks’ influence drive a new recycling infrastructure?

Hasbro says it will be getting rid of those annoying wire twist ties on its toy packaging, replacing the wire with more sustainable materials such as paper rattan. The company is also making a commitment to source at least 75% of its paper packaging from recycled material or sources that practice sustainable forest management.
