Constructed of stainless steel finished to food and dairy standards, the Flexicon open-chute high-lift bin dumper is suitable for mobile bins up to 3,000 lb in weight. It hydraulically lifts each bin up to 10 ft above floor level, opens the gate-style lid of the 60-cu-ft capacity receiving hopper, dumps the contents into the hopper, and returns the bin to the plant floor as the hopper lid closes. The receiving hopper includes a vibratory bottom to promote the passage of non-free-flowing material through flexible downspouting into the material charging area of the flexible screw conveyor operating under loss-of-weight control.
