Peco Controls Corporation: High-speed X-ray food inspection

Expanded line of ScanTrac™ systems from Peco Inspx (Fremont, CA) includes lower-cost systems that simultaneously inspect for contaminants, fill level, multiple fills, components, and artifacts in most food packages, including glass, metal, plastic, film, or paperboard. Systems are specifically for the food industry and are said to be less costly, more accurate at full line speeds, and easier to set up or reconfigure than comparable X-ray inspection systems.
