American Packaging Corporation achieves ISO 14001:2004 registration at third facility

American Packaging Corporation Rotogravure Printing & Laminating facility located in Columbus, WI has received ISO 14001:2004 registration for its Environmental Management Systems,confirming its environmental management systems provide the means of planning, measuring, and improving “Environmental” performance throughout the entire facility.

The environmental system applies to all activities, including design, printing, laminating, coating, and slitting activities conducted by American Packaging Corporation's Rotogravure Printing and Laminating Division (APC) at the Columbus, WI location.

Sustainable Production is the creation of goods and services using processes and systems that are: non- polluting; conserving of energy and natural resources; economically efficient; safe and healthful for workers, communities, and consumers. Brett Triebel, Operations Manager for the facility remarks, “ISO 14001 certification brands our company as environmentally responsible. It helps us demonstrate how committed we are to reducing our environmental impact as well as meet customer’s expectations of sustainability”.
