In his position, Guido will be responsible for the strategic focus within the C&L/PA segment, as well as to keep the direct relation to our partners, in the HOTMELT adhesive industry. Within the C&L/PA segment, ITW Dynatec is offering hot-melt adhesive systems for state of the art bonding solutions to various industries, such as Tapes & Labels, Automotive, Technical Textiles and the Construction sector. The offered systems include our non-contact, precision, slot-die application systems like CrossCoat and TwinCoat as well as our latest innovation, the ExactCoat. But also fiberized adhesive spray systems and the actual ITW Dynatec range of melting equipment and accessories will be offered by Guido Schuermann, in order to provide high quality hot-melt systems and valuable customized solutions, to our partners.
After studying mechanical engineering at the “Bergische Universität Gesamthochschule Wuppertal”, Guido Schürmann was working about seven years as a development engineer, where he innovated new bullet-proof composites that are still protecting armored limousines, offered by Mercedes and BMW. In the last fourteen years he headed further into the direction of product- and project-management, respectively sales and management positions, serving customers within various industries, worldwide.
In total Guido Schuermann has a 20 year background in the technical textiles / coating & lamination industry, where he was working for companies like: AKZO Faser AG, VERSEIDAG Indutex AG and the Dutch TenCate group. “Due to his solid technical and commercial background in the Coating & Lamination world Guido will be able to help and understand customers with traditional hot-melt systems like powder- or roll-coaters, as well as the latest, state of the art application technology, offered by ITW Dynatec”, says Stephan Schultheis, the Sales Director of ITW Dynatec GmbH.
