The combined company - rebranded SencorpWhite - couples the strengths of Sencorp, an established provider of thermoforming and sealing systems, with White Systems, the originator of automated carousel storage and retrieval technology.
In early 2009, SencorpWhite consolidated its manufacturing operations to a 155,000 square-foot facility in Hyannis, Massachusetts. The move added valuable, job-creating manufacturing operations to Southeastern Massachusetts, and allowed the company to capitalize on cross-selling its packaging and inventory management systems to customers within healthcare, pharmaceutical, life sciences, industrial, retail, food service, consumer packaging, defense, electronics, and many other markets. In addition, SencorpWhite has developed a strong partner alliance with distributors, both domestically and internationally, providing a broader range of customers with their advanced packaging and inventory management systems.
"The union of Sencorp and White Systems three years ago has created a stronger company with greater manufacturing expertise, research and development capabilities, and technical resources to
compete with global manufacturers for customers around the world," stated Brian Urban, President and CEO of SencorpWhite. "With over 120 years of combined experience designing and manufacturing machines in the United States, we look forward to many more years of success driven by our employees' ingenuity, dedication, hard work, and commitment to customer service."
SencorpWhite's advanced distributed inventory systems enable companies to optimize their facility's supply chain through secure, remote management of high-value inventory. The company's leading-edge storage/retrieval systems, advanced inventory management software, and Auto-ID technology enable increased efficiency and complete control of high-value inventory, including at the point-of-use. In addition, SencorpWhite's industry leading thermoforming, blister, and clamshell packaging systems harness advanced packaging capabilities to reduce cost, improve reliability, and speed time to market.
