Unlike conventional three-piece aerosol cans, these two-piece cans have no welded sideseams to detract from the sleek appearance of the container. The design eliminates the chance for any rust to form along the side seam. And the PET polymer coating on the inside and outside of the can also helps prevent rusting.
The aerosol nozzle valve systems are supplied by Precision Valve Corp. (www.precision-valve.com), while the colored, translucent plastic overcaps come from Berry Plastics Corp. (www.berryplastics.com).
Developed for professional manicurists, Envi incorporates an ultra-fast (within seconds) drying formula as well as a biocompatible conditioner that combats nail polish peeling and promotes longer-lasting nail color.
John Brogan, vp of sales and marketing for IQ Products, says, “The previous packaging for our nail enamel dryer product—a three-piece, standard cylinder aerosol can—had been unchanged for almost 20 years. We wanted to modernize the design, while still keeping the familiar packaging elements, and subtly move the product to our new Envi line. Response from the trade has been tremendous, and manicurists like the rounded-shoulder, easy-handling, ergonomic contour of the container.”
