From April 21 – 27, 2005, interpack 2005 - 17th International Trade Fair for Packaging Machinery, Packaging and Confectionery Machinery - will again be the global marketplace for packaging technology. As the No. 1 international trade fair for the industry, interpack 2005 will feature the entire spectrum of packaging machinery and appliances as well as packaging materials, confectionery machinery and appliances. Over 2귔 exhibitors and 175ꯠ visitors from around the world are expected to take part in the event held at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany.

Due to the construction of a new hall and the expansion of the existing Hall 13, an additional 107길 square feet of net exhibit space will be available for interpack 2005. With the expansion, the Düsseldorf fairgrounds offers 1.7 million square feet of net exhibit space for the exhibitors. The new hall is located close to the North Entrance of the fairgrounds and offers a gross exhibit space of 145괌 square feet.

interpack 2005 offers an updated Internet service: www.interpack.com is a portal for the packaging industry, providing current trend and market information from the international packging sector as well as all relevant information about interpack 2005. The portal includes information about interpack 2005 exhibitors and their products, a listing of international manufacturing and user association as well as an international trade press directory and news articles from worldwide trade publications

Messe Düsseldorf will again offer a special service for all exhibitors and attendees: Visitor, exhibitor and press entrance passes allow free use of all public transportation on all days of the show. The entrance passes can be used as free public transportation tickets on all buses, streetcars, underground trams (U-Bahn), urban railways (S-Bahn) and German rail service within the Rhine-Ruhr regional transportation network (VRR) of Düsseldorf and Duisburg - and now also for travel to and from Bonn and Cologne within the Rhein-Sieg (VRS) transportation network.
