The TAFMER™ family of polyolefin elastomers is comprised of versatile copolymers that offer chemists and engineers more freedom to tailor polyethylene, polypropylene, EPDM, and polyamide compounds with unique properties. Owing to its low density, TAFMER™ is preferred by compounders who need to formulate the lowest cost solution. The polymer backbone of TAFMER™ is polyolefin based. Many grades are FDA compliant*, and are supplied in talc-free form for immediate use in packaging film intended for food or aqueous containment. TAFMER™ is considered a most versatile polyolefin elastomer by formulators who are able to select the precise physical property balance they need, from a full menu of copolymers.ADMER™ Adhesive Resin is a modified polyolefin designed to bond polyolefins to ethylene vinyl alcohol copolymers (EVOH), polyamides,polyester (e.g. PET), ionomers, and a variety of metals. Available in pellet form, ADMER™ is used in coextrusion processes to produce multilayer films, sheets, tubes, bottles, and tanks. ADMER™ Adhesive Resin functions as a tie layer in complex multilayer structures that combine, for example, the gas barrier and moisture barrier properties of otherwise incompatible raw materials in packaging, automotive, and industrial applications.TAKELAC™ 341: Water-based barrier coating for paper and flexible food packaging, reducing reliance on PE extrusion layers.
