Smaller package presentations are growing across several industries due to reduced disposable incomes. Sustainability is less a driver with convenience and affordability driving consumer behavior.

PET Bottles will experience the strongest growth and offer a wider variety of sizes including “family-sized” and refillable options.

Through 2020 Latin America will experience a compound annual growth rate of 1.8%. Only the U.S. is expected to grow at a slower rate.

Euromonitor International, who produced the study for PMMI Business Intelligence, complies data points and qualitative analysis for 80 countries.
