Interfilm Holdings, Inc. (Piedmont, SC) has signed a distribution agreement with the Dow Chemical Co. (Midland, MI) to be a distributor of Opticite polystyrene label films.

—Roper Industries, Inc. (San Diego, CA) has consolidated its high-speed imaging companies, Roper Scientific MASD, Inc. (San Diego, CA) and Redlake Imaging Corp. (San Diego, CA) to create Redlake MASD, Inc. —Tyco Adhesives LP (Norwood, MA) has acquired the packaging, label protection, and masking tape business lines of R2 Tape, Inc. (Bensalem, PA). —Fasson Roll North America (Painesville, OH) has purchased certain assets from the Spinnaker Coating (Westbrook, ME) facility. —BASF (Mount Olive, NJ) has engaged Entec Polymers (Orlando, FL) to be a distributor of its molding and extrusion resins in the United States and Canada. —Doyen Medipharm, Inc. (Lakeland, FL) and Food Technology Service, Inc. (Mulberry, FL) have agreed to combine efforts to promote and market Doyen’s contract packaging service together with Food Tech’s sterilization services. —Bosch Automation Technology (Racine, WI) and Rexroth (Hoffman Estates, IL) are now operating as a single corporation called Bosch Rexroth Corp. —Applied Extrusion Technologies, Inc. (New Castle, DE) has entered into an agreement to purchase certain assets of QPF LLC (Streamwood, IL). —Honeywell Engineered Applications and Solutions (Morris Township, NJ) and VPI Mirrex Corp. (Sheboygan, WI) have agreed whereby VPI will market and sell Aclar® laminate in the Americas. —International Paper (Purchase, NY) has signed a purchase agreement to sell its flexible packaging business to a company sponsored by The Sterling Group (Houston, TX).
