Australian biotech labeling
Australia is considering changes to its Food Standards Code on labeling of genetically enhanced ingredients that are equivalent to traditional foods. In comments to Australia's Ministry of Health, GMA said labeling criteria for genetically enhanced foods should be adopted only if the information is essential to health and safety.
