Weiler Engineering Inc.’s ASEP-TECH® Model 640 blow/fill/seal packaging system is demonstrated at Achema 2012 by Chuck Reed, the company’s director of sales and marketing. The high-output machine employs Siemens controls and a touchscreen. This video shows 250-mL containers made in a 14-cavity mold.

At Achema 2012, Stephan Wengi, sales director for Hapa demonstrates a hybrid printer that offers two printing technologies in a single machine. At the first station, a flex print head prints non-variable information, while variable batch codes and details are printed digitally at a second station. The machine can print flex only, digital only, digital and flex, and be equipped with a different color UV-curable ink for both print methods.
