Videojet acquires Wolke Inks & Printers
Videojet Technologies Inc., has acquired Wolke Inks & Printers GmbH (Hersbruck, Germany).

The combined expertise of Videojet and Wolke will create a single
source for coding and marking technologies for pharmaceutical
companies, packaging machinery manufacturers and other industrial
companies.
“Videojet and Wolke share a commitment to coding solutions that deliver uptime and peace of mind to customers,” says Matt Trerotola, president of Videojet. “Wolke’s application expertise in thermal ink jet coding broadens the Videojet portfolio of marking and coding solutions. In addition, Videojet’s extensive global distribution and service network expands and complements Wolke’s current market reach.”

Wolke will continue to operate as a separate business unit and will remain based in Hersbruck.
