The partnership formed with Phoenix Contact gives DVT a power supply and Ethernet I/O assembly to be used with DVT’s Legend SmartImage vision systems. Phoenix Contact will provide an industrial-strength DIN-rail-mountable power supply that permits quick connection of devices. The preassembled I/O rail assembly has Ethernet Modbus/TCP protocol with eight built-in digital inputs and eight digital outputs.

The agreement with CTC Parker will allow DVT to private-label CTC’s InteractX HMI software. This agreement enables DVT to give users an integrated vision and HMI software product which will significantly reduce cost design and integration and maintenance company says. DVT will offer InteractX software as well as CTC’s PX PowerStations which are industrial PC platforms bundled with InteractX for easy out-of-the-box operation.

The cooperative agreement struck with Iconics will enable the development of an OPC server for DVT products. OPC the standard for the exchange of real-time manufacturing and process control data will allow customers to eliminate the use and programming of custom interfaces and drivers. OPC technology allows users to connect components from different manufacturers to communicate with each other through a common protocol.
