Instead of relying solely on visual inspection of each glue bead, ClearVision’s PackChek System employs thermal imaging by evaluating the heat signature of every package to ensure hot melt glue has been applied to the correct locations.

To date, PackChek is said to be the only vision inspection system of its kind utilizing thermal and visual imaging. The numerous benefits of the system include real time feedback on faulty product, and the ability to log defects and analyze long term performance.

The International Business Awards are the world’s premier business awards program. All individuals and organizations worldwide – public and private, for-profit and non-profit, large and small - are eligible to submit nominations. The 2014 IBAs received entries from more than 60 nations and territories.

Nicknamed the Stevies for the Greek word for “crowned,” the awards will be presented to winners at a gala awards banquet at the Westin Paris – Vendôme Hotel in Paris, France on 10 October.

ClearVision’s PackChek System is part of Valco Melton's strategy to increase awareness of issues customers have with defective cases and work in partnership with them to resolve these issues.
