U.S. National Parks turn to 'wrap'

Foodservice venues at eight national parks in the U.S. are using sandwich wraps made from biodegradable material.

Made by EarthShell (Santa Barbara CA) from ingredients such as limestone and potato starch the wraps will be used by Aramark to serve hot and cold sandwiches at parks and resorts. According to EarthShell several wrap sizes are used providing the qualities of insulation grease resistance moisture retention and ease of use. For more details visit www.earthshell.com.
