The principle behind Smart Valve is a membrane inserted into the spout. This membrane is only activated through light suction by the consumer. As the valve in the membrane is opened, it allows the liquid to pass through. When suction stops, the valve closes and flow ceases, resulting in a pouch that does not allow spilling even when squeezed. Suitable for on-the-go beverages, as well as for drinks marketed toward children and seniors, the package also comes with a modern, easy-open, t-e cap.
