Aromat's (New Providence, NJ) UZB Super-Slim photolectric sensors measure 1/8" thick with a footprint of less than 1/4 sq". They can sense objects as small as 1 mm (0.0394"), as close as 2 mm (0.0788"), making them suitable for up-close applications such as detecting semiconductors on PC boards, and tape and reel assemblies.
