Saint-Gobain launches new online catalog to better serve the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries
Saint-Gobain Performance Plastics, developer and manufacturer of silicone, polymer extruded and specialty-molded products, has launched a new online catalog with Thomas Industrial Network featuring detailed product descriptions along with 2D and 3D CAD drawings, making it easier for customers to search for product information on Sani-Tech high-purity piping and components.
Its ongoing partnerships with the pharmaceutical industry have led to the development of innovative products and advanced methodologies. Now, engineers across the world will be able to access the company’s complete product line for high purity water systems from one central platform.
Working hand-in-hand with Thomas Industrial Network, Saint-Gobain was able to leverage Thomas’ Navigator Platform technology to create a central, online platform that hosts all of its Sani-Tech brand product information.
The Company’s website features a new interactive catalog of over 2,000 products, focusing on high-purity water systems for the pharmaceutical and biopharmaceutical industries. The site targets engineers and equipment designers of high purity water systems who can now identify and select exactly the parts they need on a 24/7 basis.
When visitors come to the site, they can search by part number or keyword, and access detailed specs, images and PDFs. They can also compare several similar products, sorted by multiple characteristics (such as dimensional data, materials and features) in one easy to read screen. Additionally, a complete online library of 2D and 3D CAD drawings makes it easy for prospective customers to insert Saint-Gobain’s product into their own detailed and complex project designs. The amount of detailed content on the website also has the added benefit of driving the Sani-Tech brand to the top of Internet searches. The more specific an engineer’s search for an item, the greater the likelihood that Saint-Gobain (Sani-Tech) will be among the first results. As a result, Sani-Tech product information will be easier to locate and specify for customers and designers around the world.
“We’re very excited to be working with Thomas Industrial Network on this new catalog. It’s a fantastic tool for engineers – whether existing customers or prospective buyers just starting their search,” said Craig Maki, Marketing Manager- Fluoropolymers, Healthcare Markets. “Our new internet strategy simplifies the process for our customers so that they can be more efficient and find exactly what they are looking for quickly and easily when designing their high purity water systems.”
