Barrier® 250 is a patented release agent used to prevent hot melt and cold-set adhesives from sticking to equipment. Marketed by Ecolab (St. Paul, MN), the pretreatment is sprayed from its aerosol can onto the clean surfaces of packaging equipment to permit easy removal of glue.
Said to be effective at temperatures up to 350°F.
