Reduced PFOA content

DuPont has announced significant progress in developing LX Platform—new high-performance products with reduced PFOA content that provide sustainable solutions to customers.

In its fluorotelomer products, the company has reduced PFOA content in aqueous dispersion products using new DuPont Echelon technology. Through this technology, the company has reduced PFOA content in converted products by at least 97%. The technology will be used for durable coatings in applications such as industrial and consumer products.
