Pro Mach acquires KLEENLine Corporation, expands sanitary production and material handling capabilities
Strengthening its position in food-grade product handling and systems integration, Pro Mach, Inc. has acquired KLEENLine Corporation, provider of sanitary production solutions including conveyors, material handling equipment, vision systems, robotics, automation controls, and systems engineering services.
KLEENLine, founded in 1986, is based in Newburyport, MA, where it operates a design, manufacturing, and testing facility. KLEENLine designs and manufactures a wide range of food grade, stainless steel product handling equipment for clean environment processing and packaging. It also is a builder and systems engineering provider for sanitary robotic solutions, vision systems, and turnkey integrated systems for direct touch food product handling and cleanroom packaging. “KLEENLine’s talented team and outstanding product line complement our existing capabilities and customer base,” said Mark Anderson, Pro Mach President and CEO. “In the past few years through acquisition and new product development we have significantly strengthened our product portfolio in sanitary solutions for processing, primary packaging, and end of line packaging. With KLEENLine, we have an excellent opportunity to offer customers integrated solutions with many of our primary and end of line packaging brands, as well as provide an increasing number of solutions in sanitary product handling and integrated systems. We will continue to invest in KLEENLine to grow their business and further develop their product and service capabilities.”KLEENLine’s leadership team, including founder Jim Laverdiere, will remain with Pro Mach and operations will continue out of the KLEENLine facility in Newburyport, MA. Jim Laverdiere joins Pro Mach as Vice President and General Manager for the KLEENLine operation.
