METTLER TOLEDO introduces IND560fillplus—an IND560 process weighing terminal with the new FillPlus-560 software for basic and complex filling and blending applications.

The IND560fillplus builds off the success of the Fill-560 application which provides users with a way to automatically combine multiple materials in a single weigh-in cycle. FillPlus is an additional program created with TaskExpert™ for the purpose of enhancing the Formula function of the Fill-560 application. FillPlus enables the storage, retrieval and rescaling of up to 25 formulas while retaining all existing capabilities of the Fill-560. Specific features introduced with the FillPlus are described below.

**Formula Storage**

A new Formula Table can store up to 25 multiple material formulas. These formulas are created by selecting material records stored in the already existing IND560 Target Table, so spill and tolerance values continue to be supported for individual materials in each formula. Formulas can be quickly viewed and activated through new softkeys on the home screen of the terminal HMI. Formula creation takes place within the TaskExpert branch of the setup menu.

**Formula Rescaling**

Individual formulas can be rescaled based on several different factors:

• Desired total target weight of a stored formula

• Percentage of the total target weight of a stored formula

• Desired target weight of a single material within a formula

**Formula Totalization**

Users now have the option to track the total number of formula cycles that have been executed and accumulate the total end weight of multi-material formulas as they are processed. This totalization is done at the individual formula level and is stored within the Formula Table.

**Expanded Auxiliary Output Function**

The Fill-560 offered a single auxiliary output, assignable either to all weigh-in cycles or weigh-out cycles. The FillPlus provides the customer with additional process flexibility by offering an auxiliary output for each stored formula.
