Handled PET sports flip-top closure

Handling ease and product visibility take center stage in the newly developed 89-oz PET container for Tropicana Pure Premium.

Spotted recently in a Jewel supermarket in Chicago was this 89-oz handled PET container for Tropicana Pure Premium. Especially notable is the closure, which features a hinged flip-top closure and a ring-pull opening component beneath the flip top. Graham Packaging produces the bottle, which sold for $7.09 at the Jewel store. PACKAGING WORLD is in the process of learning more about the innovative container, which is just now rolling out, so stay tuned.
