According to Nicole Skogg, founder and CEO of interactive mobile marketing technology provider SpyderLynk, in order for a mobile marketing strategy to be effective, “a value exchange is necessary.” She adds, “If you are going to ask the consumer to grab their phone and take action, there has to be something in it for them.” Following are Skogg’s top tips for implementing a successful mobile marketing strategy:
1. Think about the value exchange and what’s in it for the consumer.
2. Have a clear call to action.
3. Provide clear instructions, whether you are using a SnapTag, QR code, or other technology.
4. Know what you are looking for from the promotion and how you will measure success.
