Bottle/can multi-packs save money, environment

Hi-Cone has reduced the amount of material per bottle and can multi-pack by almost 17% by combining their plastic with a compound known as metallocene.
By ,
This ultra-efficient LDPE+ substantially strengthens the material, so that less material is used to create the same type of multi-pack.  The material reduction has a huge impact on the supply chain and generates cost savings from creation to disposal. The company’s packaging compares favourably with common competitor shrink film; using less than 40% of the material for an equivalent pack size, according to Hi-Cone. The reduction in material does not affect the mechanical and functional properties of the packs.
