Siemens Energy & Automation (Alpharetta&#44 GA) introduces the Simatic TP170A touch-panel display based on the the Microsoft Windows CE operating system&#44 which offers “instant on” functionality and does not require a hard disk to operate.

It has a 6” screen in a robust IP65-rated panel design and is equipped with all basic functions for simple machine control applications. It is configured with Simatic ProTool through which users can create push buttons indicators graphics I/O fields as well as fixed tests and messages.
