Latrobe Brewing Co.: Case erecting and loading

At this Rolling Rock brewery, at the infeed of a case erector from Pearson Packaging Systems&#44 a robotic positioner picks bundles of 12-count corrugated shippers&#44 orients the bundle&#44 cuts the band&#44 and feeds the band to a grinder.

Then the bundle is handed off to a device that swings down and delivers the bundle to the magazine feed of the case erector. Finally a place packer from Hartness International loads cases and eventually they are conveyed past a laser coder from Domino Amjet and out to remote palletizing.
