Krones, Inc.: Modular Labeling System Provides Maximum Flexibility

Krones Modul System delivers maximum application flexibility via modular&#44 interchangeable labeling stations. Working off its plug-and-label principle&#44 the Modul labeler combines multiple labeling techniques such as cold-glue&#44 pressure-sensitive&#44 hot-melt roll-fed&#44 and hot-melt pre-cut wraparound labels all on a single machine base.

And all this flexibility does not compromise speed running at 50 to 1 bottles per minute.

Krones offers a variety of Modul labeler base sizes to accommodate a packager’s production requirements. The base size of the machine is a determined by speed requirements. The Modul machine base sizes are founded on the Krones cold-glue labeler models – Unimodul Prontomodul Starmodul Solomodul Topmodul and Multimodul and range in size from 600 to 2400 mm.

Krones Checkmat label inspection systems may be integrated with any Krones labeler. The Checkmat Label Inspection Unit uses smart cameras or sensors to verify the labels on containers. Labels are identified through comprehensive comparison with a sample and checked for position alignment and quality.

Cold-glue pressure-sensitive hot-melt roll-fed and hot-melt pre-cut wraparound labels all on a single machine base.
