Automation is tip-top at Siptop: Pouching

 Two robotic cells may be the main attraction on this Canadian beverage maker’s new line. But home-grown packaging solutions, especially in pouch-filling, are also crucial.

Pouches are conveyed from the vertical form/fill/seal machine to an automated corner-tuck system. From there, a custom-built chute device returns pouches to a horizontal position so they can be conveyed to the infeed lanes of the robotic cell.
