Watch this video that shows the automated loading of carriers and cases of 187-mL PET bottles of wine.
By Rick Lingle, Technical editor

An early 2007 upgrade to the downstream operations of Foster's Wine Estates Americas at its Napa Bottling Co. facility in Napa, CA provided labor savings and improved throughput. Added were a MeadWestvaco carrier loader and Sabel case packer that are highlighted in the video.

Part of Australia-based Foster's Group, this facility bottles Beringer Estates products. It dedicates this 150-ft-long U-shaped line to packaging 187-mL PET bottles packed in handled carriers and then cased for shipment.
