Video: AstraZeneca relies on robotics

Robotic case packing and palletizing of Nexium blister- and wallet-packs at AstraZeneca's Sodertalje, Sweden, facility improve productivity and reduce manufacturing costs.

At AstraZeneca's plant in Sweden, nine robotic cells, featuring a mix of 16 robots from ABB Robotics and other suppliers, is providing that efficiency during case packing and palletizing on multiple packaging lines. Four of the Nexium lines at this plant are supplied with turnkey ABB Robotics pack-handling equipment. Read more about it here.
