New foam-in-bag system offers green benefits

Machine's production of small-diameter Continuous Foam Tubes results in less foam usage and allows for material reduction and reduced cube-package design.
By Anne Marie Mohan,
Paul Saunderson, product manager for Sealed Air's Instapak® foam systems, describes in this video how the new Instapak® Complete™ foam-in-bag packaging system can be used to reduce protective foam packaging use. The system creates Continuous Foam Tubes in sizes from 1 to 1.5 in., using 12 preset combinations, and includes programmable perforation technology that applies a perf between tubes, allowing them to easily detach for a perfect fit. The system also offers 12 preset combinations for foam-filled bags, as well as CFTs.
