Video case study: Vision-guided robotic picker speeds pancake stacking

This short video from ABB shows how a 4-cell robotic delta pick-and-place system increases cycle time 20% and payload 50% at Honeytop Specialty Foods. Camera-guided robots detect pancakes on a mass infeed and stack them uniformly for packing.
In addition to higher capacity, benefits experienced by Honeytop include lower labor costs and improved hygienic conditions. The four-cell system picks and places up to 400 pancakes/min. Software enables fast changeovers.
