High-speed robotic motion control demo shows three robots interacting with only 1 mm clearance

In a visually stunning demonstration of ABB's motion control capabilities, three robots are shown interacting with one another while their tooling is constantly shifting and interacting on three axes with 1 mm clearance.
The demonstration includes an explanation of how the system can be easily programmed to accomplish what looks like visually complex movement paths. Software algorithms for achieving high accuracy and the shortest cycle time are also discussed.
