Adhesive applicators with insulating cover

The recently released MiniBlue II (slim) adhesive applicators from Nordson Corporation now come standard with a hard-plastic insulating cover that reduces energy use by about 40%.

In addition to energy savings, the insulating covers for MiniBlue II applicators also maintain applicator and adhesive temperature to improve adhesive flow and cutoff for improved dispensing performance. Covers also minimize the chance of incidental contact with heated surfaces. The applicators’ unique module and solenoid technology achieves more than twice the operating life of any pneumatic applicator in the packaging industry. And, the ball-and-seat design allows for clean operation and consistent, repeatable patterns even at high speeds.
