MPS integrated offline label printing systems

Norwood/Allen’s new MPS family of offline reel-to-reel label printing systems, which combines a printer with integration from Code-in-Motion, prints serialized, variable and/or batch data to pre-printed or blank labels and is designed for labeling regulated and over-the-counter pharmaceuticals, nutraceuticals, medical devices, cosmetics and food products. See them at PACK EXPO Booth #2000.

With its optional vision inspection and traceability software, MPS complies with track-and-trace and electronic pedigree serialization initiatives to improve inventory management and assure consumer safety. The table-top model is a stand-alone unit that automatically unwinds, indexes, prints and rewinds a roll of label media for offline printing. Customers then use this printed roll of label media on their label application systems. If needed, the offline reel-to-reel MPS can be upgraded at a later date in the field to print online. Integrates either a continuous motion or intermittent motion thermal transfer printer or hot stamp printer with controlled data processing.
