Stand-alone autosplicer

UVA flexible packaging machines can be equipped with a patented stand-alone UVA-AutoSplicer.

Machine stops are avoided with the UVA-AutoSplicer because of a film reel exchange. Without stopping, the UVA packaging machine will exchange the reel and connect itself to the film “on the fly “--without the presence of an operator. Film waste can be decreased by 3-5%. The stand-alone UVA-AutoSplicer has a minimum footprint and can be placed behind any packaging machine, both intermittent as well as continuous motion.
