Product identification system
Smiths Detection has partnered with ARMARK to produce IntelliMark, a product identification system that enables genuine brand authentication through microscopic markers embedded in products such as consumer merchandise, secure documents, food and apparel.
The microscopic markers, about the width of a single hair, can be seen
and identified using Smiths Detection’s IdentifyIR™ and IlluminatIR™
instruments. The covert markers allow for several levels of hidden security and the
ability to verify contents, monitor environmental conditions and
identify origin in case of contamination or counterfeiting.
